My 10-day journey across Portugal led me from the becoming too gentrified city of Lisbon to some graceful inland hilltop walled white towns. Portugal is really an extraordinary country. Beside some great samples of historical architecture, I was especially pleased by its genuine and friendly people which made also easier to travel round. Despite winter months are reputed statistically to be the most rainy ones in this corner of Europe, I was so lucky to experience lovely sunny days during my staying which fully contributed for a more successful shooting.
Last stop of this my relatively short trip was Algarve. I headed down to what is really the country’s tourist epicentre with its long unspoiled ocean beaches which attract plenty of surfers or the archetypal picturesque coves fringed by rock stacks, gentle cliffs and lonely lighthouses. Definitely, an idyllic scenery to complete my journey. Enjoy this photo gallery of my trip through Portugal.
