Fall foliage is one of the best moments to take a trip to Ordesa and Monte Perdido national park and explore a place of scenic beauty. In the second half of October burnt orange and fiery red leaves turn the colors of the lush forests across the park into an unforgettable palette of natural splendor. In fact, right in this period of the year the beech and pine lush forests all over the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park are blanketed by colorful and vivid tones of the fall foliage under the impressive limestone peak mountains.
So, I packed my stuff and got my photographic equipment ready for a thrilling photographic weekend right in the middle of the Spanish Pyrenees about 4-hour drive away from Barcelona.
Trees leaves turn into an amazing and colorful combination of red, yellow, green and brown tones throughout all the mountain valleys. Just add rushing streams and gushing waterfalls and you get a scenic landscape which becomes fire for the soul of every nature photographer!
